Explosion Box

Hi all, so this is my next post, An Explosion Box. Today is my sister-in-law's Anniversary. So I decided to give her an explosion box. This is my first attempt in making this card. I wanted to keep it simple. Here are the individual photos.

Hope you all like my card. I know this is not perfect as this is my first try. There are so many great card makers out there. I will try to make a perfect one next time. I wanted to share my attempt with all of you.

Photo Frame

Hi all, am here with my next post. This is my second quilling order from an old friend. She was blessed with a baby boy recently. So, she wanted to have something that would be long lasting. I thought a photo frame would be the best. She also wanted to have her boy's name in the frame. At first, I was very hesitant and didnt have a clue as how to put the name since its only been few months of my quilling. But after much browsing I finally got the idea and have put the name there. :)

A big thanks to Itsy Bitsy for haing all the supplies under one roof. My friend just love the frame. And am too kinda satisified with the outcome. Hope you too like it.

Shivalingam

Hi all, Am back with my next post. This is my first attempt in quilling a miniature,a shivalingam. As sentimantally, I started my quilling with Vinayagar, I wanted to start my miniature with Shivalingam and fortunately today is Arudhra Darshan. Arudhra darshan is a festival of Lord Shiva wherein we celebrate the cosmic dance of Lord Shiva in form of Nataraja. Hope you like it. Will be back with my next post soon :)

Black and Red

Hi all, this time I have tried doing a box card with some simple quilling. This was for a very special person of my life who has been with me, no matter how bad the situation was. I had always wanted to gift him something special. Since I had started quilling,I thought why not give him something made by me. So here it is. A quilled box card. 

His favorite color is black and mine is red. So thought of combining both the colors for quilling. This is actually a black themed card. And tada !!!! The card when it opens.

And so that is my new card and some quilling in it. You can see the tutorial of the box card here.The tutorial is really good. Submiting it to DCAM. I will be back with my next post. Till then, keep experimenting.

Quilled Easel Card

                    

                     So here am with my next card. Its a quilled easel card which I made for kaarthigai deepam. Its a festival of lights which we celebrate for the wellness of our siblings. 

                This is the first time I have tried to quill a flower using a comb. Thanks for all the tutorials available online. I have used two malaysian flowers and a lamp as stopper.
